We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Nyali Taylor, MD, MPH, as the new Vice-President of our Board of Directors. With over two decades of professional clinical experience, her diplomacy and faith will champion our mission to promote healthcare equity, quality, and accessibility for New Jersey’s vulnerable communities. Dr. Taylor’s advocacy and expertise in navigating health systems will be a beacon of progress for our Board and the communities we serve.
Dr. Taylor is a first-generation American whose parents settled in Central New Jersey, raising her to honor faith, family, respect, and integrity. Guided by these principles, she pursued the American dream of unencumbered choice and opportunity. Her educational journey led her to Rutgers University as a scholar-athlete, followed by a dual-degree program in Medicine and Public Health at Drexel University, culminating in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery training.
Professionally, Dr. Taylor has served a diverse range of people from various socioeconomic backgrounds, communities, and countries over the past two decades. Her interests lie at the intersection of her surgical practice and her experiences in policy, advocacy, and oversight roles. This blend of experience fuels her passion and vision. Dr. Taylor’s clinical work has strengthened her resolve to provide quality care for everyone she serves.
