All About You Healthcare Advocates proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of our President and Founder, Tanesha Owens. This year, Tanesha has been honored with a nomination for the Russ Berrie Making a Difference Community Award and has received the Community Service of the Year Nursing Award from Saint Peter’s University Hospital.
Tanesha is a passionate advocate for both the community and patients, tirelessly working to promote health equity and improve health literacy. She focuses on supporting those who face greater health challenges due to factors such as race, socioeconomic status, and limited access to essential healthcare and community resources. Her dedication aims to enhance the health and well-being of our community members, helping them achieve a healthier and more fulfilling quality of life.
Despite living with a chronic illness that causes daily pain, Tanesha draws her strength from her faith in God. She has been fortunate to receive quality healthcare services and specialist care, allowing her to remain in remission from her autoimmune disease for over seven years. Tanesha is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to the same high-quality care she receives.
Our team is inspired by her mantra, “everything we do has to be bigger than any one of us.” Tanesha’s humility, bubbly personality, and gratitude to God for His provisions enable us to continue advocating for quality healthcare access. She consistently inspires us and brings joy, even on challenging days.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Tanesha for her outstanding achievements and unwavering commitment to serving others.
On behalf of your entire team, congratulations! 🎉
